Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia and Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta arrive Asmara, Eritrea, this morning for official visit.
“Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed arrives in Asmara, Eritrea this morning and is received by President Isaias Afwerki,” the Office of the Prime Minister twitted. During their stay in Eritrea the two leaders are expected to discuss on regional peace, according to twitts of Eritrean Ambassador to Japan Estifanos.
“The three leaders will discuss timely regional issues in a Tripartite Summit today while bilateral matters will also feature in separate meetings,” twitted Yemane G. Meskel, Information Minister of Eritrea.
President Uhuru was in Ethiopia for past two days before departing to Eritrea. During his stay in Ethiopia along with Prime Minister Abiy President Uhuru has visited Hawassa Industrial Park in Hawassa, Southern part of Ethiopia and attended the inauguration of Debre Birhan Industrial Park in Amhara Region.
The two leaders have also visited the tourist attractions of Arba Minch in Southern Ethiopia.
