The newly appointed Ambassador of Djibouti to Ethiopia Abdi Mahmoud Ibe on Wednesday presented a copy of his credentials to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.
The newly appointed ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to Ethiopia, Ambassador Abdi Mahmoud Ibe, has presented a copy of his credentials to Mr. Faisal Alie, Director General of Protocol Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.
Mr. Faisal commended the relationship between the two countries that stood on a solid foundation and thanked Djibouti for its confidence in Ethiopia and unconditional support, according to the statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.
He also called on the two countries to further cement their relations by working together for peace and security. Mr. Faisal assured the ambassador that the government of Ethiopia would provide him all the necessary support during his stay in Ethiopia.
Ambassador Abdi Mohamud, for his part, appreciated the fraternal and historical ties that exist between the two countries.
The ambassador also expressed his confidence to boost the relationships between Ethiopia and Djibouti during his tenure in Ethiopia.
