Two pilots die on Friday when a military jet crash around Denkaka, near Bishoftu Air force base, some 45 kilometers from the capital Addis Ababa.
The two air force staff named Major Hayelom Tesfaye and Major Sebri Towfik, were on airshow exercise for the upcoming Tuesday graduation ceremony according to Addis Standard report. The two were flying SU-27 fighter jet.
Two eye witnesses have also confirmed that the accident has occurred on Friday the morning around 10 o’clock. It is recalled that about two years ago a military chopper close to Bishoftu where several people reported dead. The military chopper was coming from the Easter part of Ethiopia.
