Cessna 172, a small plane owned by Abysinia Flight Services, a private aviation company, crashed in Jimma area of Oromia region of Ethiopia.
The plane was crashed on Friday morning around Asendabo area near Jimma City, according to the state news agency, Ethiopian News Agency. The pilot was injured and taken to the hospital after the training plane crashed around 10 o’clock.
The pilot was on training, according to the report, which quoted Ethiopian Civil Aviation public relations head, Mr. Animut Lemma. The Ministry of Transport has also dispatched experts to the accident location to investigate the cause of the accident.

Cessna 172 Skyhawk is an American four-seat, single-engine, high wing, fixed-wing aircraft made by the Cessna Aircraft Company. The company is licensed to offer Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot License, Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine Rating and Instructor Ratings.
It is recalled that about a month ago Trans Nation Airways of MIDROC, another private company chopper was crashed in the capital, Addis Ababa.
