The Government of Ethiopia today announces appointing former Ambassador to Egypt Dina Mufti as a spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This is for the second time for Ambassador Dina Mufti to serve as the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia. He served at the Ministry a few years ago before moving to serve as ambassador. Dina has also served as an Ambassador in different countries.
After Ambassador Dina left his post at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the position was taken by the current Ambassador of Ethiopia to Kenya, Meles Alem. Mr. Meles is appointed to serve as Ethiopia’s Ambassador in Kenya about a year ago by the reformist Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
