In the coming ten years the government of Ethiopia aims to facilitate the creation of twenty million jobs in different sectors.
BY ANDUALEM SISAY GESSESSE – Asmara, Eritrea – The implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement signed by African leaders on March 21, 2018, can create two million jobs every year and doubles growth of the continent, a UN official said today.
Mastercard Foundation is set to help Ethiopia government create over 10 million jobs for the young generation over the coming ten years.
The European Union (EU) is set to provide 1.5 billion birr (45 million euros) finance to Ethiopia assisting the east African country create 400,000 new jobs.
On May 29, 2019 offcials of Ethiopia and Georgia met for a political consultation in the capital, Addis Ababa.
