The UN Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) on Monday 20 May, 2019, hosted Mary Robinson, former president of Ireland and UN Special Envoy on El Niño and Climate, in a session dubbed “A Conversation on Climate Justice.”
After visiting Ethiopia’s historic tourist attractions,the Prime Minister of Ireland, Leo Varadkar, has promised to support Ethiopia’s effort to maintain its tourism attractions and heritages.
By actively involving civil societies, Ethiopian government is set to re-plan its development programs to attain sustainable, quality and inclusive development, a top government official said.
