The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), says it is preparing to undertake Sidama referendum and general elections of Ethiopia on schedule – within the coming nine months.
The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) said it is set to manage referendum in Sidama zone in the coming five months. The decision came in response to the quest of the zone to upgrade its status and become one region in Ethiopia.
With the aim of advancing the discussions on the overall democratization process of the country and the upcoming elections, active political parties in Ethiopia on Thursday have approved a guideline.
