Malabo, the capital of Equatorial Guinea is set host the African Development Bank’s next Annual Meetings in June 2019, following the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two sides.
The African Development Bank (AfDB) disbursements reached $7.81 billion in 2017, a 15 percent increase over 2016 and the highest on record for the Bank.
The Korean government announced increasing its bilateral financial assistance package for Africa to $5 billion until the year 2020.
The African Development Bank, which begins its annual meetings this morning in Busan, Korea advises African countries to diversify their energy sources in order to sustain their industrialization efforts.
