Slovenia eyes strengthening investment relation with Ethiopia

Ambassador Tomaz Kun Stelj, Slovenia’s Ambassador in Rome met with Ethiopian Ambassador in Italy, Ambassador Demitu Hambisa and expressed his country’s interest to invest to strengthen ties through investment.

He further expressed his country’s strong desire to strengthen the relationship with Ethiopia mainly in the area of investment, beekeeping, and technology transfer, according to the information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.



The two officials who met on Wednesday have also discussed overall bilateral relations, according to the statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia. On the occasion, Ambassador Demitu briefed her Slovenian counterpart Ethiopia’s potential on investment, trade, tourism, beekeeping, and the technology sector. Ambassador Tomaz, on his part, mentioned that Slovenia values its long-standing relations with Ethiopia.

The two sides also appreciated the existing encouraging ties and agreed to further strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
