BY ANWAR HUSSEN MOHAMMED – With the aim of recognizing and awarding manufacturers of quality products and excellent service providers in Ethiopia, Ethiopian Quality Award Organization (EQAO), and HayaSebat Marketing and Branding company have inked a partnership agreement today.
The agreement is signed in Addis Ababa this morning between Mr. Tewodros Mebratu, CEO of EQAO, and CEO of HayaSebat Marketing and Branding PLC, Mr. Aschalew Tamiru. During the event the two parties have stressed the need to jointly work and increase awareness of quality products and services among the manufacturers and service providers in Ethiopia.
Today’s agreement also involves organizing the 12th national quality award ceremony that involves shortlisting and awarding quality service providers and manufacturers in the country.
Established 17 years ago, Ethiopian Quality Award Organization was promoted by Addis Ababa University (AAU) and the Walta Media and Communication Corporate as a non-profitable organization with the goal of developing a national quality brand by recognizing and rewarding those who implement quality systems in product and services.
