Russia Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Mr. Mikhail Bogdanove visited Ethiopia on Tuesday and met with officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.
Mr. Mikhail Bogdanove has met with the Foreign Minister of Ethiopia, Ambassador Taye Atske-Selassie, and discussed on how to scale up the cooperation between the two nations, according to the information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.
It is stated that the two sides discussed mechanisms to strengthen bilateral political and economic relations. In connection with that, they noted the importance of deepening cooperation in the BRICS framework.
“Ambassador Taye stated that the two countries should scale up cooperation in technology transfer and capacity-building arenas. The discussion between the two sides included national, regional, and continental peace and security matters,” it said.
