Ethiopia has imported close to 81.8 billion birr (around $2.82 billion) fuel during the fiscal year concluded July 7, 2019, said Ethiopia Petroleum and Supply Enterprise (EPSE).
The foreign reserve of Ethiopia which has been depleting for many years, has now improved and reached 3.2 billion.
Ethiopia’s hard currency reserve for fuel import has increased over the past months exceeding three months at the moment, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said.
