The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Ethiopia has increased to 287 after the country reported 15 new cases found during the last 24 hours.
The 15 new cases are found after the country conducted a total of 3,707 laboratory cases in 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia. All the of the new COVID-19 positive are Ethiopian nationals between the age of 17 to 38.
The Ministry indicated that eight of them are from Addis Ababa, three from Somali region, two from Benishangul Gumz region, one from Amhara and one from Afar region. yesterday the country has also reported nine new cases.
Out of the total confirmed cases 112 have so far recovered and 168 are getting treatment, according to Dr. Liya Tadesse, Minister of Health of Ethiopia. In Ethiopia five people have died of COVID-19 so far. Up to date, the country has conducted a total of 48, 985 coronavirus laboratory tests.
