After one patient died last night the total number of deaths from COVID-19 in Ethiopia have increased to 12.
In the last 24 hours the country has also reported 85 new COVID-19 (coronavirus) cases, the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia said. Out of them 72 are tested in Addis Ababa, five in Oromia, four in Tigray, three in Somali and one in Amhara regions.
To date a total of 1,257 COVID-19 cases are reported in Ethiopia of which 217 have recovered and 1026 are getting treatment. So far Ethiopia has conducted laboratory tests for COVID-19 for a total of 112,377 people.
