Athlete Axumawit Embaye won the indoor Women 1,500 meter’s race at the 2022 World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold series in Germany by finishing 4:02.12.
She is followed by her compatriots Athlete Hirut Meshesha, and Athlete Frewweyni Hailu. The 27years old Ethiopian Athlete Axumawit Embaye is one time World Indoor Championships Silver medalist.
In the Men’s 3,000 meters run, the 20 years old Athlete Berihu Aregawi of Ethiopia has won the race with 7:26.20. “Following the pacemakers through 1000m in 2:27.20, he was on world record pace, and when the second pacer left the track with seven laps to go, Berihu forged on. He passed 2000m in 4:56.87 and was roared around the final lap as he crossed the finish line with 7:26.20 on the clock,” reported the World Athletics.
Berihu is one-time Olympic games finalist, current African record holder in 5 kilometers road, and one-time world records in career.
