The Ministry of Health of Ethiopia today reported 555 new COVID-19 patients after conducting laboratory tests for 8,490 people in the last 24 hours.
The new COVID-19 people has increased the total number of infected people Ethiopia has confirmed so far to 13,248. Out of the total 5,966 have recovered, while 209 have died, including 9 deaths reported in the last 24 hours. The previous day Ethiopia has reported 760 new cases, which is the daily the country conformed so far.
In the last 24 hours 181 patients have also recovered, according to the report. The daily report of the Ministry stated that currently 7,071 coronavirus patients in Ethiopia are getting treatment. Out of them 66 are in critical condition. The report also indicated that so far 372,812 people have taken laboratory tests for coronavirus in Ethiopia.
