The number of daily confirmed COVID-19 (coronavirus) infected people increases to 150 bringing the total number of cases of the country to 1,636.
The 150 COVID-19 positive people are found in the last 24 hours, after laboratory test is conducted for 5,141 people. Today’s number of coronavirus confirmed cases is the largest Ethiopia has reported so far in 24 hours.
In the last 24 hours 4 patients have also recovered from the global pandemic increasing the total number recoveries in Ethiopia to 250.
The daily report of the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia also stated that 16 patients are currently in critical condition.
The report stated that out of the total 150 confirmed cases in 24 hours, 123 are from the capital Addis Ababa, six from Somalia region, 13 from Amhara, three from Southern part, two from Oromia, two from Tigray, and one from Afar regions. Yesterday the country has reported 147 new corona virus cases confirmed in 24 hours.
