The total number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Ethiopia has increased to 317 after the country reported 11 new cases in the last 24 hours.
A total of 4,225 laboratory tests are conducted in the last 24 hours of which 11 new cases are found, according to the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia. All the 11 new COVID-19 positive people are Ethiopian nationals between 17 to 45 ages.
Five of the 11 new patients, five are male and six of them are found in Somali Region’s Jigjiga quarantine center, while four are from the capital, Addis Ababa and one from Amhara region. In Ethiopia so far five people have died from coronavirus and 113 have recovered. Of the total cases 190 are found in Addis Ababa, followed by Somali Region and Afar regions which respectively reported 46 and 21 coronavirus cases.
