Unlike in the Western countries, coronavirus (COVID-19) attacks more young people in Ethiopia between the age ranges of 15 to 24, to the statistics of the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia reveals.
Out of the 263 total confirmed cases in Ethiopia so far including two new cases reported today, 92 are between the age ranges of 15 to 24 years. 76 of the COVID-19 patients are between 25 and 34 age. The number of patients between age ranges of 35 to 44 year are 43.
The figure of the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia shows that 26 of the total COVID-19 positive people found in Ethiopia are aged 45 to 59 years and 18 of the total patients are above 60 years old. Seven children between 5 and 14 years old are among the 263 total COVID-19 victims found in Ethiopia. A one years old baby is also among the COVID-19 patients found in Ethiopia.
So far five people have died in Ethiopia from coronavirus pandemic, while 106 have recovered.
