Ethio Telecom and Huawei continue their partnership by launching the 4G LTE advanced mobile service in Ethiopia’s Somali Region.
The project is accomplished within one month and the two companies partnered to finish the installation and commissioning for 56 LTE sites, despite the distance of some sites from the main warehouse in Addis Ababa. “We worked together with our strategic partner Huawei and finished the difficult task to deploy the 4G LTE advanced in East East region, said ”Ethio Telecom CEO Firehiwot Tamiru at the launching event.

Huawei also supported Ethio Telecom to provide the 4G LTE Service in the North-Western part of Ethiopia, which was launched last week.
