African Development Bank’s (AfDB’s) Office of Integrity and Anti-Corruption found CHINT Electric to have engaged in numerous misrepresentations of its past experience in bidding for Bank-financed contracts in Ethiopia, Tanzania and Zimbabwe. The Bank bans CHINT for 36 months for these fraudulent practices.
