President Sahle-Work Zewde emphasized the importance of having women in leadership positions in ensuring a nation’s growth and development.
The President highlighted some recommendations on empowering women leaders such as leadership training and mentorship by women in leadership positions, promoting networking and allyship among women and giving women the opportunities to deliver.
It is to be recalled that President Sahle-Work has launched initiatives implemented at various levels to empower women and prepare them for leadership positions. (FBC)
