An Ethiopian delegation met Riyadh officials to discuss on safety and protection of the human rights of Ethiopians living in Saudi Arabia.
The two sides also exchanged views on how to facilitate the safe return of Ethiopia migrants living there, according to the Ethiopian Embassy in Riyadh.
Following the discussion, the two sides agreed to begin soon voluntary repatriation of undocumented Ethiopian migrants by ensuring their safety and dignity.
The delegation also visited Ethiopians detained in Riyadh’s Shumesi deportation centre. (FBC)
