Ethiopian Airlines Aviation Academy (EAA) has graduated 302 aviation professionals at a ceremony held at the Academy’s Commercial and Cabin Crew Training Building on Saturday.
The Academy is ICAO TRAINAIR Plus member and IATA authorized global training center. The graduates are from the aviation maintenance, Pilot training and School of marketing divisions of the academy and received their diplomas and achievement awards at the ceremony from Mr. Tewolde GebreMariam, Group CEO, and Ethiopian Airlines.
Congratulating the graduates and their families, Mr. Tewolde remarked, “In line with our Vision 2025, our Academy, the largest in Africa with an annual in-take capacity of 4,000 trainees, is not only serving the needs of Ethiopian but of the African airline industry.”
“Every year, it trains thousands of young Africans in all facets of our industry be it marketing, customer service, finance, aircraft maintenance, pilot, cabin crew or leadership. It is availing training and job opportunities for thousands of young Africans and is playing its part in filling the gap in skilled aviation professionals in Africa.”
