Ethiopia COVID-19 recoveries increase to 620

The total number of recovered from COVID-19 (coronavirus) in Ethiopia has increased to 620 after 75 new recoveries in the last 24 hours.

Currently a total of 2,839 people are confirmed COVID-19 cases including 176 new cases reported today. The Ministry of Health of Ethiopia in its daily report of COVID-19 stated that 29 patients are now in critical condition. The new 176 cases are identified after the country conducted coronavirus laboratory tests for 5,636 people in the last 24 hours.



The report stated that out of the 176 new cases one is foreigner and 98 of them are from the capital Addis Ababa, 33 from Amhara, and 31 from Tigray regions. Seven are from Somali, three from Oromia, two from Dire Dawa and two from Afar regions. While 60 people in Ethiopia have lost their lives by the global pandemic, 2,521 are currently getting medical treatment. So far a total of 186,985 people in Ethiopia have got laboratory test for coronavirus.
