The number of people died by coronavirus (COVID-19) in Ethiopia has increasesd to 103 after the country reported five new deaths today.
In its daily COVID-19 status update, the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia has said it has discovered 157 new coronavirus infected people after testing 3,093 people in the last 24 hours.
The report also stated that 298 have also recovered in the last 24 hours. In Ethiopia 5,846 people are are so far tested COVID-19 positive, out of these 2,430 recovered. In a related development, a 114 years old man in Ethiopia has recovered from coronavirus, according to BBC report.
In Africa a total of 383,747 confirmed cases are reported with 9,691 deaths and 183,421 recoveries. Egypt, Algeria, South Africa are among the severely affected African countries losing over a hundreds of lives each so far.
