The total number of people who lost their lives by coronavirus (COVID-19) has approached 800 after the country reported 23 new deaths in the last 24 hours.
The daily COVID-19 report of the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia indicated that so far 51,122 people have contracted the virus in the country. Out of them 793 have lost their lives and 18,382 have recovered.
Over the last few days, the country has been reporting on average a daily confirmed coronavirus cases of about 1,500 after daily testing of around 20,000 people on average.
