Ethiopia announces two more coronavirus patients

The government of Ethiopia today announced finding two more confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) patients.

This is indicated on the social media video message of Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed. The latest victims of the virus increases the total number of people suffering from the pandemic to 23. Over 800 people have taken COVID-19 tests so far in Ethiopia, according to Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, who stated that still the people in Ethiopia need to execute the social distancing and washing hands measures advised by the World Health organization.



In its latest report, the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia indicated that one of the 23 confirmed COVID-19 is proved to be negative and the total number of confirmed positive by the coronavirus pandemic at the moment are 22 people. Prime Minister Abiy stated that out of the total 23 patients two have recovered while, the remaining are being treated isolated.

It was reported last night by the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia that the total number of coronavirus pandemic patients in Ethiopia has increased by five and reached 21. In a related development, the Southern, Oromia, Benishangul Gumz and Amhara regions of Ethiopia have banned public transport that brings people to their respective regions from other parts of Ethiopia.
