In the last 24 hours 1,131 Ethiopians have recovered from coronavirus (COVID-19) while the country reported 468 new cases.
The daily report of the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia shows that so far a total of 111,870 people have recovered from COVID-19 in Ethiopia. Five patients have lost their lives increasing the total number of people in Ethiopia who lost their lives by the global pandemic to 1,918.
The report also stated that 468 new coronavirus positive people are found after laboratory tests of 5,402 people in 24 hours. Yesterday’s new infections have increased the total number of people infected by coronavirus in Ethiopia to 123,856.
Currently a total of 10,066 people in Ethiopia are getting medical treatment for coronavirus of which 243 are in critical condition. The total number of people in Ethiopia who have got laboratory tests for coronavirus is close to 1.8 million.
