Enat Bank, RENEW Strategies partner for women in finance forum

Ethiopia’s Enat Bank and RENEW Strategies in conjunction with  are set to host the second Women in Finance forum. The Forum will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Enat Bank Headquarters in Addis Ababa Kazanchis area.

The forum will focus on the topic of developing financial products for women, in an effort to promote gender equality within the Ethiopian financial market. Director of Women’s Financial Services & Marketing at Enat Bank, Abeba Tesfai will be the keynote speaker for the second event in the series.

Abeba has been with Enat Bank for nearly three years in her current role, focusing on the bank’s programs policies, and partnerships focusing on women’s economic empowerment (WEE). Abeba has a wealth of experience in the financial sector, working for U.S-based companies including Freddie Mac, Treliant Risk Advisors, and Bank of America.

The Women in Finance series is part of the Accelerating Business Growth program (ABG), supported by the Government of Canada through Global Affairs Canada.

RENEW is an impact investment firm that facilitates private investments in business in Africa. RENEW serves the Impact Angel Network (IAN), a global collection of investors seeking to make both social impact and financial returns. The IAN is the largest North American-based angel network dedicated to investing in Africa.
