Prime Minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed today indicated his government’s readiness to repatriate Ethiopians who migrated to neighboring Sudan after it has launched restoring rule of law military operation against the armed group labeled, Tigray peoples Liberation Front (TPLF), which admitted attacking the northern command of Ethiopian army in Tigray Region a few weeks ago.
Following the findings of Ethiopian Human Rights Commission on the grave human rights violations perpetrated by TPLF forces in Maikadra, the Government of Ethiopia calls on the international community to condemn “the atrocious acts of crimes against humanity”.
The Ethiopian Human Rights Commission today released a preliminary report revealing the massacre of over 600 civilians at Maykadra in Tigray Region by the TPLF militia, criminal youth group and police.
